How We Build Content & Execute Your Strategy

Yellow Line’s talented content team brings a lot of firepower: you’ll have a dedicated graphics designer and creative director, as well as access to motion graphics designers, videographers, illustrators and copywriters. In order to keep them moving and give them the lead time they need to build fantastic content for your brand, we follow the simple process outlined here:

  • You’ll receive each month’s deliverables by the 10th, or the nearest weekday if the 10th falls on a weekend. Deliverables include an updated Monthly Strategy Guide and a Monthly Content Calendar; both are for the next calendar month.

  • You can make as many changes as you want to both the Strategy Guide and Content Calendar. Your strategist will be available to field your notes by email or phone. It’s important that we get these right and find alignment with your goals!

  • On the 15th (or nearest weekday if the 15th falls on a weekend), the calendar gets ‘locked in’. Graphics, GIFs, infographics, and videos are created, and daily content is loaded into Buffer.

  • Each Friday, your strategist will load the second week of content into Buffer. So on Monday morning, you’ll see two full weeks of content ready to go in Buffer!

  • If you’d like to make any changes to calendarized content, just drop your strategist a line or give them a call. Changes to calendarized content (like new images, type size, and colors) can be made as often as you’d like at no charge. We require 1 business day turnaround for edits to static graphics, and 2 business day turnarounds for edits to GIFs and infographics.

  • Following our standard monthly process will never entail additional charges.

  • If you’d like to change the calendar after it’s been ‘locked in’, or if you need additional graphics, videos, or GIFs, we’re happy to accommodate you at our standard hourly design rate. We’ll always request your permission in writing and provide an estimate before you incur additional charges.

Let your strategist know if you have any broader input on your visual voice or the specific graphics we’re creating for you! Our creative director or a content team representative will attend quarterly and annual reviews to build on what we’ve built together during the Connection Plan.
