1. What is your favorite movie and why?

Saving Private Ryan because it is a realistic look at one of the greatest struggles in human history as told through the lens of a small band of soldiers, with a mission to save just one life amidst the horror of world war. The movie explores the bond of men in battle, the moral implications of war, even one that is just, the tragedy of one person's death even when thousands were dying every day, the humor and joy that can be found in the darkest moments, and the bravery of that generation.

2. What is your favorite travel memory?

My recent trip to France. My wife, our son, and her parents, brother, and sister accompanied me through Paris and Normandy. We saw amazing art, churches, resting places of saints, architecture, ate great food, spent all of our time in a unique mixture of history and modern times. The trip was more a pilgrimage than sight seeing adventure and has enriched my life.

3. What is your favorite part about working at YLD?

Twofold. First is the importance of the work we do, specifically cause related. We work with some organizations whose mission is the true benefit of all persons, in a variety of capacities, and that is immensely fulfilling. Second is the community of employees. I work with like-minded individuals who wish to be the best in the world at what they do.
